Complimentary makeover
Went for a complimentary makeover by a company named NbyN last Sat. It was a very interesting exerience!
To be honest, i’m quite skeptical even now cos the company works like those timeshare companies who got their contacts based on referrals and you’ll be coaxed into signing a very ex lifetime pkg and u can only get the promo offer if you sign up on the spot! Sound suspicious yah? I even brought my md along in the hope that I might be able to do a story on this. But to be honest, they are not very pushy lar so… hmm… Does anyone knows of any related complaints?
Anyway back to the makeover, I was told to wear my own clothes for a casual look and later changed into their clothes for a more different look. The casual look is what u see as my profile picture =) I followed my image consultant (who said I looked like Kelly?! haha… he’s the 3rd one after a fruit stall auntie and a hairstylist) into the studio and posed for the 1st photo, wah… it’s act quite tiring, ur body and expression became stiff after a while! But it’s still ok!
Now comes the 2nd photo, the exciting one! Faints… The consultant passed me 2 outfits which I tried & rejected! 1 is too auntie and the other too sexy… In the end, I settled on a black dress, also quite short but still acceptable. I guess he’s right, for a makeover, of cos I must try something different yah? Then a quite pro hairstylist helped me do a 爆炸头 *ouch* and I was told to change into high heel boots! Again I was brought into another studio, this time with a super bright light shining at me! They even attached white translucent cloth to the chairs and got someone to sway it to create waves. Later, the photographer brought in a big fan so that it can blow at the cloth and create the effect! haha… It’s so comical that I kept luffing! I had 3 pple fussing over me, incl an angmo from the mgmt who even took over the camera for a while! For a moment, I thought I’m some superstar!!! It’s really quite an entertaining experience I must say! =p Here’s the kua zhang photo! =)
Act I think they really put in a lot of effort and thruout the whole session, that image consultant kept saying I’m cute till I’m a bit 翩翩然… hahaa… opps! But of cos I din buy the pkg (which costs over 3k!!!) in the end! I’m glad they din pushed further when I rejected.
Overall, it’s a very very interesting experience for me! keke… 虽然只当了几个小时的小明星，不过真的很好玩哦！=p
