Back from HK
Finally I am back from HK!!! =D
hee… Not that I did not enjoy myself there but I am glad to be back home. Guess it’s the nature of Cancerian… I always longed to be back in my shell after a short getaway.
It was a fun trip. HK is a place where I always looked fwd to! It is almost like Spore, a bustling city with a lot of people. But with common languages (English/Chinese), I can get my way around quite easily. Though I spent a lot of time getting lost esp for the 1st 2 days (some of you might be wondering if one can get lost in HK, but we did! haha… just not too good at directions la..), but after some time we managed to find our way around. In fact mtr stations are quite easily located, so we are never too worried.
Places we went:
Fish, Bird & Flower Markets, Avenue of Stars (星光大道), Victoria Peak (太平山顶), Aberdeen Fishing Village, Huang Da Xian (黄大仙), Times Square (时代广场), Lan Kwai Fong(兰桂坊), Lantau Island (大屿山), Dessert Stalls eg. Xu Liu Shan(许留山), Yee Shun (Cowhead logo), Shopping places eg. Temple Street, Ladies Market and YESHHH, Disneyland! Wow… Envious? =P
Disneyland was not as fantastic as expected, quite small with not much exciting rides. We tried 5 rides within the short 2 hrs we were there. Even went for merry-go-round! (haha… must be too affected by Stairway to Heaven =) 2 rides are quite fun though! Took some nice photos there. =D
HK is really a place where we shop and eat and shop and eat… No wonder, the tourism slogan is 买东西,吃东西,买东西,吃东西.
Desserts are yummy though a little x. Shopping is fun esp when local brands are much cheaper compared to Spore (got some great lobangs at the expense of my poor fren’s aching legs though!). Breathtaking scenary from Victoria Peak. Overwelming crowd at Lan Kwai Fong (cos it’s the 2nd last day of Halloween). On the whole, it’s a fruitful trip!
I believe it would not be too long before I visit HK again. But this time I will make sure it is the Summer Sale Season! Ladies shld know why! =)
